Set sail on a new career with Carnival, and help us bring the FUN to life aboard one of our fantastic vessels! We’re looking for dedicated individuals to join us a aboard! This role will have you performing all clerical related work for the Engine Department. You will support the Chief Engineer, Staff Chief Engineer and the Engine team.


  • You’ll be working on maintaining logs for crew certification, SCC, BST, Crowd and Crisis. Ensures that all paperwork and documentation required by Company policies and regulatory bodies is duly completed and accurate.  
  • Prepared list of engine personnel on call during port stay. 
  • Keeps updated certification for Engine Ratings. 
  • Assists the Chief and Staff Chief Engineer with payrolls issues and other related paper work. 
  • Ensures that all aspects of the company’s OH & S are effectively applied during his/her working activities. 
  • Any other assignments as required by the Staff and Chief Engineer. 


Minimum Requirements: What do you bring to the table? 


  • Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar field.
  • High School Diploma, Technical training; suitable applicant must be +21 years old
  • Basic Training Certificates as per the STCW standard
  • English language proficiency
  • Strong focus on the ship's safety management
  • Ability to work well with a team and be well organized
  • Good understanding of computers and the Microsoft Office package


Preferred Requirements: What would we love to see? 

  • Shipboard experience in the same capacity onboard cruise ship
