As an Assistant IT Officer you will work with the IT Officer on board to provide technical support for shipboard users of all IT systems. You will be responsible for the Wi-Fi, the Satellite phones, all Manager PC’s, not to mention all the IT systems on the Navigational Bridge and Engine Control Room – your job is to keep these functional. Our IT department is a small, but FUN team who really play a vital part in keeping the ship connected. As with all of our team members, you’ll be a highly visible member of the team, and will constantly interact with our guests and helping them with questions. You will help create a FUN shipboard environment for fellow Team Members by owning and leading crew welfare, wellness, recognition, and engagement programs. You will also support activities related to employee communications, crew onboarding, and delivery of regulatory safety training programs.
You will help promote a culture of continuous learning and development on your assigned ship by facilitating all company learning programs. This includes e-learning, English proficiency, supervisory and leadership development programs, and talent development programs. You will also support employee engagement and welfare activities.
Carnival Cruise Line’s Onboard Targeted Marketing team is seeking a dynamic Project Lead to support the successful implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of onboard marketing initiatives and content delivery on board our ships. This shipboard role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands shipboard logistics, and is passionate about enhancing the guest experience through targeted and relevant content, both in digital and paper campaigns.The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of onboard programming, shipboard operations and key deadlines, as well as knowledge of shipboard content management systems. This role requires frequent travel across the fleet and close cooperation with both shoreside and onboard teams. Strong presentation skills are crucial, as the position involves delivering group presentations and conducting both team-based and one-on-one training sessions.
