The RSA ( Responsible Service of Alcohol) Officer is an advocate for Ship Security Specialists and plays a critical role in overseeing guest activities involving alcohol. This position ensures full compliance with the ship’s Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy while maintaining high guest service standards in line with company protocols.
You will consistently monitor, control, and troubleshoot all engine machinery equipment while on watch duty, paying close attention to the main engines, auxiliary engines, power generators, M/E and A/E ancillary equipment, lubrication system, bilges and bilges tank, and piping integrity.
You will execute and monitor the voyage plan, maintain nautical charts, and oversee bridge instruments and communication equipment. You will also promote a successful safety culture and support the professional growth of junior officers while actively engaging with guests to provide a FUNtastic vacation experience.
You will conduct fire drills and training, orient new crew on emergency duties, maintain firefighting equipment, and adhere to all relevant regulations and safety standards. You will also evaluate and prevent potential fire hazards, inspect hot work areas, and ensure the safety of enclosed spaces before work begins.
You will assist the Watch team during lookouts; report sightings, dangers, and near accidents; and help maintain the ship's decks and superstructures. You will also help in the maintenance and upkeep of accommodation areas, participate in arrival and departure procedures, and in cargo loading and discharging.
