You will consistently monitor, control, and troubleshoot all engine machinery equipment while on watch duty, paying close attention to the main engines, auxiliary engines, power generators, M/E and A/E ancillary equipment, lubrication system, bilges and bilges tank, and piping integrity.
You will be involved in various tasks such as performing maintenance work on lifesaving appliances, chipping and painting of deck areas, conducting bridge and gangway watch, and performing water shuttle services, among other duties, ensuring the ship operates safely and efficiently for an exceptional vacation experience.
You will perform garbage-handling operations and maintain the cleanliness of the Environmental Room and marshaling area. You will perform your tasks with a strong focus on safety and occupational health practices; thus, your participation in safety training and drills is required.
You will maintain and repair the ship's air conditioning and refrigeration systems, ensuring a cool and comfortable experience for our guests. You will work closely with the Refrigeration Officer and be responsible for executing maintenance tasks and upholding safety standards.
You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various mechanical, electrical, and electronic components in the main galley, crew galley, galley equipment and laundry room. You will also provide electrical support to the Electrical Team as needed and maintain records of maintenance and repairs.
